GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

  • Cowichan Tribes Status
  • 15 Years and Older
  • Valid Social Insurance Number
  • Seeking Full-Time Employment OR Upgrading Minimum Grade10 Level (Restrictions Apply)
  • Possess Updated Resume
  • Possess Current ID

QET PROVIDES HELP WITH

  • Sponsoring members in upgrading/certificate courses

    • Tuition (if a pre-requisite and not offered with K-12 or Adult Upgrading Grant)
    • Books
    • Supplies
  • E.I. Top Up (Up to 25% of required hours)

  • Work Gear (non-seasonal)

  • Gas Card/Bus Pass (for education up to 10 days)

  • Post Secondary Courses (must be on waitlist with CT-Post Secondary, maximum 1 course per term)

  • Drivers License (for education/employment only)

  • Employment Assisted Services

    • Resume/Cover Letter
    • Fax/Photocopy For Resume Distribution
