Environment and Natural Resources
The Environment and Natural Resources team works in partnership with Cowichan Tribes Administration and Chief and Council, and is committed to the protection, conservation and management of resources found on Quw'utwun Tumuhw (Cowichan Lands).
The Environment and Natural Resources team is responsible for any activity or project that could impact the multitude of resources found in tumuhw. This includes and is not limited to: referrals, land use planning, habitat, parks protected areas, watershed management and contaminated sites and GIS.

- Liase and communicate with members, stakeholders and third-party interests
- Land Use Planning
- Marine Planning
- Mapping and data management
- Traditional Use and Occupancy Studies
- Flood Management
- River Management
